Lipgloss and letdowns.
I haven't been in the mood to update lately. But then again, I never have anything to say, really. I went to lunch at the place I work today with my mom, and I looked at the schedule and saw that I work tonight at 4:00. I actually called yesterday to find out the next time I worked, and Kristin, the girl that answered, told me Thursday was the next day that I was scheduled. Well, she was wrong. She told me another Jen's schedule. Luckily I saw that I had to work today, otherwise I'd be in big, big trouble. But it really sucks, because I told my little sister that I'd take her shopping for her birthday this afternoon, eat dinner with her & the rest of my family, and then go to her softball game. BUT NOW I CAN'T DO ANY OF THAT, because I have to work! GRRRRRRRRRR. That's -500 points for letting my little sister down. :(
I went to see Jimmy Buffett at Alpine Valley on Saturday. It was so much fun! We took a coach bus to the venue, because apparently that's what everyone does for Buffett concerts. It was my brother, Andy, our friends, and a bunch of people that we did and didn't know. There were 43 of us on the bus, I think... And a lot of alcohol. I could not BELIEVE how many people were there partying. I love concerts, I love Buffett, I love Alpine Valley, and I looooooooove Coronas. :) By the end of the night, I was so tired and so sick of being around drunk people... It was nice to get home and go to bed. And ew, I have never been so filthy before in my life. Thank God for showers.
I leave for Mexico in 12 days & I'll be gone for a whole week. I'm excited, but then again, it kind of sucks because a.) I'll be without Andy for a whole week, and 2.) I'll be out of work for a week, so I'll be uber broke when I get back into town. But that's okay, I'll manage somehow. Alright, I'm going to go sulk before I have to go to work. *sigh* I hate my life.
P.S. I swear one day, I'll post something interesting...
