House 6.09 - Wilson

Dec 17, 2009 20:04

OMG. So I'm just getting back into watching House after a year or so off, but I may have to start listing House as one of my shows again from now on. How slashy was that last episode? So slashy!

When House said he would be there with Wilson during surgery, because if Wilson dies, House will be alone: AWWWWWWWWW. I wanted to leap through the screen and smish them both because their relationship is dysfunctional, yes, but it is also one of the most loving relationships on TV right now. Wilson accepts House sarcasm and all, and at the same time, House criticizes Wilson but there's no real malice behind it.

And then of course, during the surgery you knew House was going to show up. Of course he would. Wilson, his one and only true friend, was going into surgery. It wasn't like House was going to *not* be there. The scenes with Wilson recovering from surgery while House kept him company and doing work by his bedside = love. I wanted to smish them again.

And then the end: OMG the end. Wilson is finally stopping being a doormat, and his first reaction as a non-doormat? Punishing someone who hurt House. By taking away their apartment. So he and House could move into it. Together. Seriously, this show could not get much slashier. Okay, so it *could* but only if House/Wilson became officially canon.

I have come to accept that there is not a relationship on TV right now as slashy as Denny Crane/Alan Shore from Boston Legal, but House and Wilson are getting closer. (And if you haven't watched Boston Legal yet, why not? It's awesome and the two main characters get married and are dudes. Go watch. Now!)

I so need a House icon. For now, Dean/Cas will have to do.
