violinage
So I picked up my violin tonight, and I decided to pick up Kempo on Thursday.
I am kicking myself for ever having put finger tapes on my beautiful instrument. I feel like I'm going to be dealing with stickiness FOREVER on my poor fingerboard. Oh well. But anyway I busted into my LOTR solo book for the first time. I was disappointed to learn that I could play it pretty well just sight reading and that the music isn't actually going to be a challange. It's pretty simple. Oh well, i just like that for the first time in a year or three, i'm really motivated to remember how to play my lovely little violin. I can't remember how to do a few things, which makes me frown. my hand has forgotten how to vibrato entirely apparently... oh well, i was never very good at it to begin with.
I love the Rohan theme. SO MUCH. Eowyn, i'm in love with you. & "Concerning Hobbits" is going to be fun!
