Madrid Moneys
Getting my budget put together for Madrid today. Just estimates at this stage, but oy vey! I'm glad to know that the university has the 1818 fund to help me finance this trip! Out of pocket it would be rough to do three months of research abroad. Here's hoping they approve my whole budget!
The accommodations are still my biggest concern. Haven't heard back from the housing people on whether a Home Stay would be an option for me. It would be nice to stay with a family, but pretty silly to pay for a semester's worth of housing if won't actually be there the first whole month. Navigating finding my own place to stay sounds a bit daunting, but I've come across a few good resources to help with that pursuit if needs be. Cross your fingers for me that I can find a place that's affordable in a nice part of Madrid that makes me feel safe and happy!
