Office Productivity.
Things I did in the office today:
~ Socialized with Dan and Phil M. - (yay Dan's back! And Phil liked my banana bread this weekend!)
~ Ordered my books for the upcoming Damian Spain class this fall (ouch, expensive Amazon Bill)
~ Bought a planner and a backpack (the bottom fell out of my other one - too many heavy books!)
~ Decided not to pay my SLU parking ticket. Meredith, our secretary, said she's gotten like 30 of them over the last 5 years and since her car isn't registered with the school, they have never gotten a hold of her to pay them, and they did let her graduate. I'm gonna start by not paying, and just see what happens.
~ Updated my C.V.
~ Finished another book for my historiography paper! However, it's still daunting to think of how much work I have left to do, despite having 11 single spaced pages already written.
~ Photocopied and hung up some sweet maps of medieval Spain in my cubicle. Should be helpful for my fall class on the Reconquest.
Tomorrow I'd like to get more actual paper progress made, but I'm pleased with the preparations for the upcoming semester that I made today.
