Joking or not, I'm officially sick of the stupid facebook statuses that reference today's storm as evidence that global warming is not happening. A rapidly increasing global temperature will throw Earth's weather patterns into more extreme swings - crazy cold icy/snowy winters and hotter droughts or storms in the summer. So in that case, today's extreme "Storm of the Century" is actually a perfect example of the effects of global warming!
