exciting afternoon phone call
So the other day I found a thing online for open casting for the new Twilight movie. Someone had posted something about it on Jamie's facebook. And all they needed you to do was send it a headshot, resume, and some information to the twilight auditions people, so I showed it to Casey and he sent in his information, figuring it was a long shot but at least worth the effort of sending an email. It was for a few characters, some small roles, and possibly extras.
AND TODAY THEY CALLED HIM. They called to ask him some more questions about his appearance, body type, and resume. No idea if anything will come of it, but it was so cool that he sent in his headshot/resume to the F-ing Twilight movie people, only one of the biggest summer blockbuster movies for next year, and they actually CALLED him up! He was psyched, especially because Bryce Dallas Howard is going to be in the next one, and she's so great. He's hoping they'll ask him to be a vampire in a scene with her.
Wouldn't that be so sweet!?
Who knows what'll happen, but hey, one can dream! I mean, they did call him up!
(Man I am actually going to have to read these books if Casey gets a little role?)
Two days ago he was cast with Avalon Theatre for Country Girl, yesterday he was called up by Insight to do a play with them in August before Macbeth, and today he's getting at least a bit of interested attention from Twilight! Casey's been on a ROLL this week! (that bad musical audition aside, anyway!)
