Today was a spectacular day.
Class was fascinating. I loved the Genie movie, and I wish I knew even more about her. She's surprisingly beautiful; what a tragic story. Rita and I had a good time exchanging glances about "the muppet," and we got together with Orla during afternoon class time to go over the rest of the terms from the study guide. We also got together with tons of people from our class to outline the possible essay questions, which was very productive. But only for like, an hour and a half, and then I spent another hour laughing/chatting/gossiping with Colleen and Rita, which was a BLAST. We laughed quite a bit and exchanged some excellent stories.
I also went to the PAAC dinner tonight, where I had 4 of Megan's delicious cookies and some pinata candy, bringing my dessert total today to at least 9 if you count each cookie individually. I probably had more sugar than any other food group today. Amazing! (Rita snuck me into library employee chocolate chip day) But the dinner party was fun. Yummy brat, yummy cookies, good company. I felt a little out of place as a person that doesn't come to PAAC meetings, even though I'm an active Dark Purple member. I feel a little of the "who the hell is this she's not in PAAC" vibe. I didn't get the impression from Megan at budget night yesterday that she expected that I was coming. I know DP members were never officially invited, and people like Amanda and Jessie and Mikey weren't there. But, oh well, it was a good time, and we all laughed about budget night and named the pinata Hank Brand. Good times. I also enjoyed walking there and back because it was BEAUTIFUL today. Megan's tulips were very fragrant. I love spring flowers so much!
Also, Julia and I watched a LOT of TV today. Way to go us being lazy seniors! I have officially decided that there should be a Scrubs channel. And a Friends channel. I had a hard time accepting after the third episode of Scrubs that no other channel was playing it at any other time the rest of the night. Boo to that!
Midterm tomorrow. I don't feel as prepared as I would like to be, since there is SO much dense material, but... our class is full of some not-so-bright underclassmen, and it is a 100 level, so I really don't think she can make the test as hard as the study guide suggests it is going to be. Though, she is grading pretty hard on the homework. Whatever; I'm doing fine and I'm a lazy senior so I can't prepare any more. Alveolar Ridge! I know that one.
More pictures tomorrow! I think I'll wear my new dress...
