My LAST block at Cornell...

May 06, 2008 23:51

Today I was working on the slideshow and I was feeling nostalgic. I'm in my LAST block... I mean, I knew it was getting close to the end of the year all along, but today I was like, holy shit, I have 3 weeks left, and that's it! Less than a month, and I'm out of here! I want to start really hanging out with my friends, soaking them up before we all leave and scatter all over the country. I want to hang out with Julia and chat with Dan and spend time with my Heather, and laugh with the Bry/ians and stay at dinner too long with my table buddies. So many good people here. I actually started packing a little bit today - put away all my winter clothes and hats and coat and stuff into suitcases. Weird. Anyway I'm also going to take lots of pictures these last 3 weeks, because I really (for me) haven't taken many pictures this year.

I think I'm going to like my last block class because (a) it's about language and culture and (b)so far, SO easy, (though it's only day 2). I like that when I finished my reading early today, I had time to put a handle on that mug, finish the butter dish, and glaze the flower vase. I sure hope that one comes out nice. I also took a 20 minute nap outside in the sun. Tre relaxing.

It was also cool to have time to go over to Lucio's room for delicious cheese fondue and Beauty and the Geek. I wonder if sweater-vest-guy or cocky-egg-head-guy will win. We all brought WAY too much food for the amount of cheese there was though.

Okay, Conan and sleep. Busy day tomorrow. TANGO!
