Sent Rhawn an email giving him a brief rundown of how tonight went, how awesome the discussion was, and thanking him for encouraging us. Here's what he wrote back:

It's 12:30 am and I just got out of bed because I'm jetlagged from my flight back from New Zealand. Until I read your email, I was feeling depressed and frustrated about not being able to sleep. Now, however, I am absolutely elated! You guys have made me so very proud. Blind reactionism never got anyone anywhere, and those on our side of the debate often fail to win over any skeptics because they can't argue the issues intelligently. But you clearly knew your stuff, presented it thoughtfully, and didn't fall for any of those common traps set by global warming denialists. I am BEAMING!
