MY GRE IS OVER!
SUMMER BREAK, BEGIN! Obligations are over. I love it. And I did a chunk better this time! I improved my Verbal score by a big chunk, and my math score by over 100 points! It was fabulous. I mean my math score still is lame in the mid 500s, but my verbal is very satisfying now instead of my okay previous score. I hope my writing sections come back equally as excellent. *relief.
I'm so happy.
In addition, I had a fabulous day of laying around, straightening my room, watching America's Next Top Model (why can't one stop?), and later I went to the optometrist to get my glasses into some new lenses, and I can SEE out of them now which is a relief. I bet I'll wear them more often now, and pretend I'm a sexy academic.
In unrelated news, I think the Wendy's commercials with the men wearing the Wendy's braids are brilliant, and they amuse me more than commercials should.
I also went babysitting tonight, which was a breeze. Annika and Hayden (the little redheads I babysit) were adorable today and we watched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron and I had to explain the whole plot to them, as I always do. And then they thankfully went to bed like angels and we read stories and sang songs and they went right to sleep! Que perfecto! Spent the rest of the night chatting on the phone with an assortment of people, and now, shower.
