"Ah Oo Ah Ah Ah, Ah Oo Ah Ah Ah"
I just got back from the first half of the Cornell vs. Coe Basketball game, and finished my reading! I'm about to head to the library in a bit here, but I'm not really sure what I'll research yet.. gah... But the game was fun. I forgot how much I love/appreciate/understand basketball. I discovered a new aspect of school spirit I didn't know I had at Cornell - sport spirit! The toilet paper tradition is officially awesome (much preferable to the old dead fish tradition), but the whole experience only made me yearn for the good old days of EHS basketball...
I wanted to hear "Hey all you cougar fans." I wanted to "Pump it up." I wanted to yell "D... B!!!" during "Defense!" I wanted to see someone kiss the floor. I missed Red Face Haebe, Jeremy making ghost noises, Eric Muller painted entirely blue, the cougar mascots getting it on to the discovery channel song, Ashley biting me when I said Basketball was better than soccer, and just the sheer enthusiasm that accompanied EHS basketball. Those were good times.
