Catching up....
I was a bone-head and didn't even bother to post anything yesterday, or to even comment on anyone's journals. Sorry, guys. My head just wasn't in it.... :(
I feel very accomplished tonight. The dishes are washed and the floors are vacuumed...and if I can get those things done, I feel like I've done something. So I'm treating myself with some yummy take-out, and I'm gonna catch up on the FlashForward ep from earlier tonight.
I've still been so fucking tired lately. I'm not sleeping well, and I'm getting pretty fed up with it, to be honest. I can't even function during the day, and that's not a good thing, considering I'm responsible for someone's child.... :/
So.....SVU was.....about the same as it's been all season. I wasn't impressed. It had a few funny moments (which is so wrong of me to say, considering what this show SUPPOSED to be about....) Overall, I gave it a C-
To be honest, if they don't jump up a notch with the writing, I don't see this show making it past next season. I know the ratings are good, but with writing like we've had this season, people are going to start jumping ship. And that makes me sad, but I guess it's true what they say...all good things must end.
And OMFG Mercy!! I know that no one is watching this show, but it's really freaking good. The characters are sharp and witty, they get to deliver great lines, and the story lines have been solid and believable. It's a shame I always get sucked into these shows that totally tank.....cuz I prolly won't get a Season 2.... :(
