It was another school night before a biology test. Alfred Jones sat at the desk in his room, rubbing his temples. His tutor, Arthur Kirkland, sat on the bed with a textbook and piles of note, quizzing his charge.

"Muscles come in what?" He asked. Neither of them had an concept of what time it was; Arthur had unplugged the alarm clock, and both had agreed on no cell phones for the evening.

"Uh, don't tell me, I swear I know all the types. There's periphery, and uh, somatic..."

"That's the nervous system," Arthur corrected, "And you've way over complicated it; muscles come in corresponding pairs, like your bicep and tricep." He pointed to his own arm as an example. Alfred frowned and asked for another question. If he didn't pass this test, he'd fail third quarter and have to take the class again next year; this was already his second time repeating biology. The big doof might not have known anything about muscles, but he knew when he needed help. Luckily, Arthur was an Advanced Bio student and nice enough to offer his services.

"Alright, what to ligaments do?"

Alfred set his glasses on the desk and pressed his heels into his eyes until he thought of the answer, "Oh! They hold the two halves of the brain together, right?"

"No," Arthur sighed and set the textbook aside so he could stretch out his legs over the side of the bed. "They hold bones together; you're thinking of the corpus callosum." Alfred dropped his head onto the desk with a thud.

"Damn it, Artie!" He shouted, "I'm gonna fail again. Can't you talk to Karpusi? Tell him how hard I tried? Maybe he'll go easy on me." Arthur sighed.

"Alfred, you know I would if I could." He picked up the book again; Alfred lifted his head and got up from his chair, "Do you just want to move on to the digestive system?"

"No," Alfred said in a low voice, taking a few steps toward the bed.

"Uh, the circulatory then?"

"I don't think so." He leaned over the bed.

"Alright," Arthur offered him the book, "You choose what you want to study." Alfred took the book; he threw it across the room. "What the hell'd you--" Arthur found himself pushed onto his back and pinned by the younger's strong arms. Foreign lips and tongue captured his own, and a knee casually found its way to Arthur's khaki-clad crotch and began rubbing slightly.

"I think I'd rather study the reproductive system," Alfred growled with lusty blue eyes. Arthur moaned while biting his lip and ground against Alfred's knee.

"I don't think," He gasped as Alfred's cold hands slipped under his shirt, "I don't think--" He yelped as his nipples were harshly twisted, "There's a lot on the test about--" Alfred's hands ripped his shirt open and descended on the elder's neck.

"What are the stages?" He hummed against his friend's skin while grinding against his hip, "Excitement?" Arthur nodded, gasping for breath, as he pulled Alfred's shirt off.

Arthur quickly found himself without pants and Alfred slathering lotion over his own arousal; he moaned at the sight, and his hands slithered down to his burning groin. Alfred grabbed Arthur's hands and held them above his head, "Not thinking of starting the fun without me, are you?" Arthur groaned and arched his back as Alfred pushed in. Once they found a rhythm, the room was filled with moans and gasps and the rustling of pages of notes under the pair.

"What's the next one?" Alfred asked, running a tongue down the elder's collar bone.

"P-Plateau," Arthur cried hoarsely, pulling Alfred's face up to his own to kiss him. Alfred curled his fingers around Arthur's length and pumped him. The both reached the peak with each other's names on their lips, and Alfred fell down to lie beside his tutor, breathing heavily.

"What's the last one?" He grinned into Arthur's shoulder.

"Resolution," Arthur sighed, peeling a page of notes about the sensory systems off the back of his thigh.

"Hmm, and what do ligaments do again?"

"They hold bones together," Arthur murmured, curling up against Alfred and drifting off to sleep.

---

On a test of 85 questions, there were 8 about the reproductive system; they were the only ones Alfred got right.

Plus one about what ligaments are for.
