Summary: Sam raised his eyebrows slightly and glanced over to his left. A pair of green eyes stared back at him with amusement.
A/N: Set before season one, Dean is 20 and Sam is 16.
Sam’s shoes echoed through the halls as he walked along the abandoned hallway. His hands gripped his rucksack tightly making his knuckles turn white. It would be a lie to say he wasn’t nervous. Sure he had been through it enough times to know what to expect. He knew he would probably get bullied, then he would lay low and become an outsider. It was always the same.
Sam stopped outside the classroom door, his hand wavering over the door knob. He let out a light sigh and opened the door. He walked in and was met by many faces staring at him. Some of the faces were full of boredom while others looked disgruntled. Sam bit his lip slightly and sat in the only empty seat in the classroom. He averted his eyes away from everyone else. Soon everyone stopped looking at him and did whatever they were doing before. A piece of paper suddenly landed on his desk. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion and cautiously looked at it. He could not be getting harassed already, could he?
Welcome! My name is Cassie, What’s yours? Look to your left.
Sam raised his eyebrows slightly and glanced over to his left. A pair of green eyes stared back at him with amusement. Cassie smiled at him while twirling her blonde curled hair around her finger. Sam was speechless. He quickly scribbled his name on the paper and sent it back. A couple of seconds later the paper was back on his desk.
Nice to meet you Sam. The weather has been horrible lately, How was it where you use to live?
Sam smiled slightly at the note, holding in a laugh. Of all the things she could talk about, She talked about weather? Sam could tell she was interesting already.
