I knew this would happen

I know I'll be screwed and i'll be trying to finish my homework at the last minute. But, this, makes it worth it.

So i got bored with my life and instead of doing really important things, like studying for Biology or doing college apps, i went to my regular gossip community ohnotheydidnt and scanning pass the Miley bashing, i saw this interesting article. It was about this show called White Collar on USA network. I've heard of that show before, i don't remember how, and I wasn't even going to bother looking at the entry. But the picture of Matt Bomer (sexy BAMF) stopped me and I felt obligated to click.

And the rest? Well it has resulted in me being an incoherent pile of goo for the past two days.

Okay, there is some point to this other than me gush over new eye candy, okay.

For those that have seen Catch Me If You Can with DeCaprio and Hanks, know how that went, FBI agent obsessed with catching a brilliant con-artist for years until he does, escapes, and the game of cat n mouse goes on, until con-artist agrees to work for FBI.

That's how White Collar is centered on, Neal Caffery, the con-artist that has been caught twice by Peter Burke (just as hot as Bomer, only in an older man sort of way, God I'm so shallow) And having escaped max-security prison to find out why his girlfriend broke up with him and fled undercover, Neal was going to spend life in prison until he managed to convince a reluctant Burke to release him into his custody and would help the FBI with their crimes.

Neal and Burke are perfect balances for each other, both are brilliant, one smooth, easy going, childlike, while the other is uptight, and predictable. They compliment each other, Burke is Neal's leash (he monitors his ankle monitor and knows to a T where he is at all times. A three year habit is hard to break for someone who knows the brand of gum his ex-con likes, hee. ) but still manages to charm his way out of his monitor from time to time.

They solve cases, all the while Burke having to learn to trust, one of his issues, especially when it comes to a criminal. He's reluctant at first, but as the episodes go by, he begins to trust Neal and they start to see each other as friends. The banter is hysterical and fits them so well. It kind of goes hand in hand with how Neal sent Burke birthday cards those three years he was in prison. i don't know if i should go "Aww" or "okay, obsessed much?"

I'll end again on a shallow note, the eye candy is good, just as the show is as well, and new episodes won't come back until January 19th (in my case the 20th since i'll have to be dependent on Hulu for the new episode) damn not having cable, but i have the internet for that, so no worries i guess.

So, more White Collar flailing around January again, i suppose :D

white collar, bamf
