I have an idea! You should get eloped right out of high school and you and your husband can become "starving artists" and try to pay college tuition and rent at the same time. Oh yeah, and skip to Chapter 10 of my manual...hehe...you would need it.
Okay, on a more serious note, I sympathize with you, though I cannot empathize for, heh, obvious reasons. You have three more years, almost exactly, in which you have to live under your parents' roof. When I was your age, yes, that seemed like forever, and the next few years aren't going to be the funnest in your life...I'm not going to try to sugar coat it for you. But, at least you have that to look forward to.
After you are out, you can do whatever you want to with your life, since there are so many other ways to live. And I commend you for making the decision to do differently than those before you, and I encourage you to do so. You'll learn a lot about yourself that way.
For now, just try to humor your parents for as long as you can, and like I said, I didn't say it would be easy. No one said living as a partial adult in a house with adults was ever easy.
