(no subject)
So last night I went downtown by myself to take pictures of things that happen downtown. I went and ate chinese food at a cheap buffet. After I walked around for a while I stopped at and had some coffee. I was sitting outside and this person walks up to me that I've never met before. They introduce themselves and I invite them to have a seat. We talk for a while about this and that occasionally hitting on some really interesting topic. After a while they invite me to this party thats at an old house on the other side of town. They take me to the other side of town and I watched as the city lights passed by me. I was feeling really excited and really happy. We arrived at the house which was old but well-kept and well-furnished. There were loads of interesting people mingling around having a good time. No one was sad, no one was angry or obnoxious, no one wanted to start any trouble. I met a bunch of people I didn't know. I was glad to have met everyone I was introduced to. We hung out for a while talking and goofing off. After the party died down everyone who was left (about 6 people) sat around in large chairs and couches with all the lights off except for a soft lamp. We listened to music I had never heard before and was really impressed with. We got into heavy discussions about all kinds of unimportant things that are fun to talk about anyway. I was invited to stay the night along with the other people who were too comfortable to go home. After the lights were off and we lay in small groups on the floor huddled in our blankets, I had a soft sweet whispering conversation with the person lying next to me. I drifted off peacefully. I woke up with a smile and someone's hand in mine knowing that I had had a wonderful time. After some coffee I left with lipstick on my cheek, 6 phone numbers, and some bubble gum. I drove home feeling like I had just lived a movie or a dream. It wasn't even a dream......it was less than a dream. It was just a side thought of where I wanted to be, because it never happened. But thats how things go.
