As for the UTD, all mothers are issued with one on the birth of their first child. This is so they can keep track of all the belongings of every member of the household at all times, didn't you know? ;)
Aaaaaaah. You have the icon of that scene! My icon was from thecandystore, but I have no idea where she got it. It fits Jack sooooo well.

And are you trying to kill me with the angst here? I love the Chloe/Prescott one, because damn. What parent hasn't had that exact conversation about six kazillion times before their child is five? But then with the BILL? Oh, that's just cruel! Sigh. I miss him so much. But my smushy heart just loves that even though Chloe will never be at her best when interacting with other humans, when push comes to shove she does exactly what needs to be done. *sniff*
Also, how much can I thank you for writing some Jack/Kim/Teri? (Yay Rachel for the prompt!) I hate so much about S8, but the thing I hate most besides Renee being all dead is the fact that well, basically her death caused Jack to be an impulsive moron and throw his life down the drain. I hate that he doesn't get to spend time with Kim and watch Teri grow up, ( ... )

God, I love Kim so much now too. I always kinda did, because she has always been a mini Jack, just with less experience and judgement. But in S1, she is all about taking risks and doing whatever it takes to save the people she cares about. I admire her for that.

I kind of enjoyed Jack struggling with Renee's bra strap.
On a side note, I have just recently become a 'serial commenter,' so this is coming just a little late but, "Visitation" and "Where are we going?" are both phenomenal, and are permanently bookmarked in my 'favorite fic' folder, so thank you for them- I have read them..um..an embarrassing number of times at least once. :)

Serial commenters are most welcome.
Jack and Renee are so adorable, in that..'I can kill you with whatever happens to be available kind of way.'
Ha! So true. They really are.

I'm SO glad I gave you the Chloe/Prescott prompt because, see, I'm interested in Chloe as a Mom. And, actually oddly, I'm always interested to read the different ways in which people characterize her. IMO lots of people can easily overdo it on the social oblivion and verbal diarrhea, but I think you got her JUST RIGHT here in terms of thought process. And AUGH you tied it in with BILL. And ... did I mention AUGH?
she hugged his tiny body tight to hers for a long time. That’s what a normal mother would do. - I LOVE THAT SO MUCH! I love the whole scene and how true-to-life it is. NICE ( ... )

Chloe is so hard to write, and I honestly wasn't sure about this, so I'm relieved it rings true for you.
WHY, WHY SO DEPRESSING, SHOW?
*sigh*

The characterization in the first Jack/Renee one is so perfect- Jack's determination to be able to do everything himself and frustration when he can't, and Renee wanting to help and not wanting to see him struggle. I can picture that scene so clearly.
Renee’s mouth hitched up in the beginning of a smile, but it was left incomplete as his lips covered hers. This line was adorable and made me all smiley. :)
She knew that as soon as the EMTs had patched him up with binder twine and sticky tape, Jack would be out there looking for them again, too. Even though no one had looked for him. GAHHHH. This line…I can’t even. And I loved Renee rubbing his back “almost subconsciously.” ♥
I know I reviewed the Jack/Teri one, but I can't get over how much I loved you writing it from Teri's perspective. You made me feel like I know and understand her, despite never having seen S1.
You did such a great job with the Chloe/Prescott one. I loved how adamant he was about wanting the lunchbox with the dinosaur, and He ( ... )
