life lesson #4920
here's my comment for the week on what not to do when you go to the bar:
let's say there are two girls hanging out on the dance floor chatting and whatnot, we'll call them girl A and girl B. if you notice them from across the bar and think "hey girl A is hot" DO NOT walk up to girl B, chat it up with her and then say "by the way your friend is really hot, what can you tell me about her?" then proceed to ignore girl B. it is better to ignore girl B altogether than to remind her how hot her friend is and THEN ignore her.
now granted, i don't go to the bar to have guys hit on me, in fact i'd rather get drunk in my own home as most bar people drive me up the wall but some things make you feel like shit no matter what mind set you had going in...yes, please!! everyone remind me how hot my friends always are, as if i were unaware.
emj and i did get a few good stories out of last night though...the girl who tried to start a fight with emj until i stepped up and she got in my face and i said "i'm sorry, do you think you scare me?" and she backed away saying something. fuck yeah! she knew i could have kicked her ass...it didn't help that she was totally wasted and i was not. it also didn't help that had she touched me first there was no way i was hitting back...i'm not dumb enough to get into a bar fight, i grew up learning the law pretty well and i would have been pleased to have pressed charges...anything for my friends :)
and now i'm tired...
