Warnings: According to author: “Although I did not write this as an inscestuous piece, please be warned that the relationship depicted in it is a very close, complicated and intense one- so it might be open for ambiguous interpretation”
Verse: Sherlock BBC
Author's summary: It was a very nice room, all things considered. Just like the car ride had been rather comfortable, allowing for the fact that it was happening against Mycroft’s will. Whoever was doing this was a dangerous person.
Reccer's comments: A well-characterized Mycroft is a thing of beauty, and
stardust_made provides an excellent specimen. The way she's rendered his thought process is spot on, drawing you into Mycroft's way of looking at this particular mystery. The passages about the way Mycroft looks at Sherlock are especially haunting; do be sure to check out the author's link to the painting referenced early in the story. The tension builds well here, making the reader genuinely concerned for Mycroft. The connection between the two brothers is eerie, but fits in strangely well with how I see their relationship.
