Mycroft is a busy man. He is also, ultimately, a competent man, which makes me go all runny in the middle. Though he wouldn't actually kick a dog or a child, not in these shoes, he's far too busy to bother himself with either one. Curiosity, be damned.
This is a delightfully written Sherlock-less story about a grumpy Mycroft bringing order to an unsavory situation. With a dog. And a Santa letter. And a kid. And a few postal sorting machines and a manual sorter of humanity named Cappy. It made me laugh quite a bit, and rightly so.
