Reccer's comments: I sense a theme in my recs for this month. I didn't love Mary in the films, but I love what fanficcers have done with her. She's just the sort of smart, tough, and funny kind of woman Watson would have fallen for (and Holmes, too!). She is no pliable Victorian lady in this fic as she schemes to get the three of them together. The dialog is great, the voices perfectly in character. It's a definite treat.
