Three of these studies were later given to John as a gift. Various hardnesses of graphite in Alex’s doubtlessly beautiful sketchbook. Individual views below the cut.
Reccer's comments: SleepingExplorer is acting here as Alexander Nussbaum, Sherlock's drawing tutor and later close friend in the fic mentioned above. John loves these drawings so much he keeps them in the drawer of his bedside table. So that is why I listed this as background SH/JW, for that pairing is integral to Sketchy and the reason why Alex gives these drawings to John. Why did I post them here? Well, the beauty of the pencilwork, the lovely detail (down to the chipped tooth) of the images, and the homage to one of my very favorite fics in this fandom.
