Awesome martial artist/soldier/general - I felt like I had to chose Sungmin ^^ was rewatching BBJX and some of the incredibly cheesy but cool skills he shows... had to be Sungmin kekeke

I hope you are enjoying it so far, especially since you've watched the drama and know what will happen xD

I did put Eunhae in the list of pairings so guessing it wasn't too much of a surprise >.< I have a soft spot for KyuHyuk - they are so affectionate, you can clearly tell Kyu feels at ease around Hyuk, but don't do much fanservice. I think it was the accident that made them a lot closer (I always get teary thinking about it).

I am! I haven't finished watching it though (although I know how it ends) and now I wonder if I should or I'll just follow the story through this fic. Hmmmm.

lol EunHae really started off on the wrong foot with each other. No one would imagine that they'd end up together orz And omg yes to KyuHyuk ;w; I love LOVE their relationship so much and YES my guess is it's because of the accident too.

When I first planned to write this most of the members were different (except Kyuhyun, Siwon and Changmin - they have always stayed the same). Hangeng was actually going to be Fourteenth... try to imagine that. I couldn't really picture it, plus who else could be the husband to Heechul and ZhouMi, I can't see anyone else being able to control/deal with both of them.

This fic will probably be ridiculously long so you have plenty of time to decide whether to watch during or after the fic ^^ however I'm not sure I like the idea of you comparing the two. I feel pressured as well as happy that people who have watched the drama are enjoying this adaptation.

I need to find someone who can make posters... I've been told by my beta that all the characters are confusing so I need to edit the the dramas official character chart. You wouldn't happen to know anyone? *puppy eyes*

That and honestly I have a hard time imagining anyone else as the elegant 8th prince. Han Geng definitely fits the role :D

About comparison, I don't think you should worry since you're following the plot very closely xD I'll be honest with you though that when I rewatched the first episode, I couldn't help but imagining your cast in their place and went into fangirl mode as the result orz

Hangeng really does fit 8th's role now. I can't picture the person I was originally going to place there any more. It was more the issue of not being able to imagine hankyu (I have watched so so many Hangeng clips smh)

Your problem was how I ended up writing this fic. I was rewatching and suddenly Kyuhyun appeared in my mind. He wouldn't leave and I ended up with this. Am I following it too closely then? It's one of my concerns.

I plan to try to update every Thursday and Sunday. If I have a rough deadline I am more likely to keep writing it (procrastination is my middle name orz). Was actually writing all of saturday rather than study... *head to desk*

I'll ask and hope for a nice reader xD

lol true, HanKyu is rare and the pull of HanChul is very strong. I have more difficulty imagining HanMi though >.<

And now I can't help but imagine WonKyu every time I watch it waaaaahhhh T____T Not that it's a bad thing or anything /coughs. Humm from my re-watch, I think yeah, you're following it very closely since all the events are basically the same. I especially felt it when I read the scene in this chapter where Han Geng told Zhou Mi to plan for Hyuk's birthday. But you already said that this was an adaptation, not simply a based-on story xD

The pull of Hanchul is incredibly strong... most of the Hangeng clips I watched ended up having Heechul in them orz I know that Hangeng and ZhouMi were really close, though I don't think they were together much on camera because ZM was often the other end of the group. I remember Heechul saying how he first met Mi when he was in the hospital after his car accident, Hangeng had brought Mi along to keep Chul company saying he was a new dongsaeng that he liked. And then Heechul nicknamed Mi as seasoning xD

My problem is that I love the story and don't actually want to change it that much >.< its too good to alter. Every time someone compliments the story its; *awkward cough* correction, the story is stolen from the drama... if someone else had written this down I'd be ecstatic (but no one had so I'm stuck doing it). I suppose this is good practice at writing again (I haven't written fiction for 5+ years). I plan to write side stories, including one for ZhouMi and one for Heechul.
