Dispatch from the heart (of TX)
I don't mind being in Mineral Wells.
It's the 5-hour, 200-mile drive I mind.
We're at their Best Western now, watching bad tv and digesting Granma Field's dinner. This Texan holiday is proving relaxing, if perhaps too idle.
I hope to return with resolve... unless reading these texan newspapers completely demoralizes me. Time will tell!
