...to play hookie today and go to the beach...it's suppoed to be in the low 80s AT THE BEACH...I kind of wish I had just done it...but I'm in now...so I guess I'll just tune out and work the day away...I just need to remind myself that in 3 weeks I'll be in Hawaii on the beach and I need the money in order to get there :)

I'll be staying on Oahu - but hitting the North Shore for a few nights. I have some surfing lessons planned, some books to read...I figure I'll go back and see Kauai and some of the other islands everyone talked about. But for now - I've racked up the bill...travelling alone gets expensive. So it's me in Waikiki :)

yes, a rental car for a few days - but I don't think for the entire week. Why? Is there some place I should be sure to check out? Do tell - I'm open to suggestions and recommendations :)

you need to drive around the whole island once. Does not take too long but great views, more so on the windward (east) side of the island. You going to go snorkling or diving?

I think I will have to do that...drive around the island...

no snorkeling or diving...maybe kayaking, depending on the funds. Surfing was a must...and a massage :)
