a long sentence to begin with
I just discovered this morning, during the conference call with a vendor where the phrase "lateral shrinkage" was used WAY too much, that the dragon I made smile about a month ago was turned in to a cloissone (sp?) pin that everyone is now wearing! :) I didn't design the entire dragon, but I did make him smile. Pretty fun :)
I hopped over to the UO in Burbank during lunch - bought the magazine, and got a free canvas bag. woo yeah.
There's some dinner thing for work tomorrow up in La Canada...I want to go, face time is always good, but I just want to be home for a bit. This is my last weekend alone - for the following two weekends my mom will be in town. Yes, she just left, and she is returning :) It will be fun :) I think the last time she stayed with me for this long was when I was in college. She slept on my box springs...she's a nice mom(I'm a mean kid). I think I'll give her the bed this time and I will take the couch or my air mattress.
I'm beginning to feel guilty for surfing too much and not doing enough work...so, time to be more productive...no more posting until I go home :P
