All of my real worries are now taken care of: no more school, definitely in for Everton this Summer, moving pretty much arranged, and today I made an epic trek to Everton Hall itself (alone because Sas kind of forgot, and by cab because I am phenomenally talented in the art of getting lost) to drop off my acceptance for next year. I payed the deposit! And then I got a $1 tram-ride back to Willis street, which produced mixed feelings of ooh! Pretty! And duh, you should have just taken it up in the first place and not spent $14 on a cab, but also: still needed to find this out for myself when something as terrifyingly important as a place to live wasn't hanging in the balance, and furthermore: yay! I won't have to give up the tempting shinies of Willis street after all because the tram stops right outside Everton and is one dollar!
The yays outweigh the duhs, in essence. Now I have to: sort out bus ticket to Auckland for December (for to meet male parental unit at conference and thus travel back home together), box up stuff on twelfth for moving company, buy bed linen and towels and basic pantry essentials (poss. save latter for moving day itself, but OMG! Olive oil, we will soon be united again!), and find Christmas presents. Well, I think there's only one Christmas present left to buy, really. Er,
missrebeccaa, a word in your shell-like...
