Now that the flu has all but passed, the absence-of-tooth ache is as it has never been before and NO PAINKILLER ON EARTH WILL MAKE IT STOP HURTING. The throbbing, shooting pain goes aaaaall the way from the first pre-molar on my bottom jaw to my temple. MY FRELLING TEMPLE! I DIDN'T GET TO SLEEP UNTIL FOUR IN THE MORNING BECAUSE OF THIS!
I need bonjela. Or clove oil. Except I can't go out and get these things because both parents are at work and I'm supposed to stay and wait for the workman to show up and take away the dead dryer and he was meant to show up at ten and DO YOU SEE WHAT THE TIME IS NOW? I WANT A NUMBING OINTMENT AND I CAN'T GET ONE.

ETA: Aha! Aha aha aha. I have some weird extra-strength triple-action gum-ointment, and I just used about twice the recommended dosage and all of a sudden I'm in no pain at all and bouncing like a bouncy bouncy thing and and and I think it's entirely possible there was cocaine in the ingredients. :D
