Oh for goodness' sake. Disney owns Miramax. Miramax of Resevoir Dogs, Trainspotting, No Country For Old Men, Pulp Fiction, the Kill Bill movies (and the list goes on)... And also Dreamworks which hello, American Beauty?
My prediction? They'll leave the films to their own devices, and use their new license to produce cartoons on the Disney Channel. And given that some of the best comic book adaptations, of any kind, came out of the 90s' DC/Warner Bros partnership, coupled with the fact that whatever we think of Disney's choices tone-wise they still have some of the best animators in the business, I don't see this as a bad thing.
