*whimper*

Ow. Ow. Ow. Stupid permanently-sprained right ankle has been playing up for days, and now my entire foot feels like it's in a vice; it didn't help that I was running all over the place yesterday completing the SEVENTY BILLION ERRANDS I had to get done before I leave tomorrow. (In case you're wondering, I: bought flour so I could bake chilli-chocolate cupcakes for my last day at work, paid off the rest of my rent, sorted out Telecom billing, topped up my phone, got my Grandma's christmas card, went to Te Papa to get my dad's Christmas present, got travel insurance, bought a new suitcase, and rented The Dark Knight. That last one wasn't an errand so much as a reward for a hard day's panic.) Today was my last day at work, and I had juuuust enough time between the shops opening (at ten) and my shift (at eleven) to post my grandma her card and some paintings I did for her and return the DVD. Anyways, ten hours on my very very very sore feet were compounded by SUDDEN PERIOD [TRAVEL EDITION]. You guuuuuuys. I am not looking forward to travelling tomorrow. D:

However, I am looking forward to seeing my parents again, and I'm sure once I'm in Abu Dhabi and have showered and slept for several hours - that is, around 3 p.m. on Monday afternoon, U.A.E time - I'll be absolutely fine. Just, for now, I am very cranky and somewhat panicky and not even "Enter Aretha," that unholy work of genius mashing up Aretha Franklin and Metallica, can make me do much more than bop weakly.

AND OH GOD, I JUST REMEMBERED I HAVE LAUNDRY TO DO. WHY DO I NOT HAVE A HOUSE-ELF? *hobbles away*

ETA: Okay, this is why I deeply love Sas. She's a Twilight fan (hiss!), but at least it's a guilty pleasure, and she just linked me to this masterpiece of lol. Also, she's talking me down from my ledge of Telecom-related panic. Some tea, and I might start feeling better soon. :)
