Growing Up
Hi, I'm not dead yet. Just never seem to have time to post anything and/or never have anything interesting to say. I am going back to college finally!! I start Aug 20th. Bleh! I'm excited for it though. I haven't been in school in nearly 8 years. Woof! I have probably forgotten everything anyways. Esp. Math. I did get myself a little "going back to school" gift. A cute lil macbook. I've always owned a dell and never really understood a Mac until I started working at Wheeler where we use one often. I must say that I dearly love it! And an added bonus, I got a free printer and itouch with it, so that was pretty sweet. Not sure how much I will actually use the itouch as I barely use my iPod as it is, but maybe with homework coming into play, I will actually use it more. Hopefully I'll update more too and I tried going back to read everyones journals, I missed like 4 months. Holy crap.
We went out to the bar last night and it was my first time since April, I was DD and that might of had a play into it, but in general...I was so fucking annoyed the entire night. I really don't miss it and most of the queers at the bar, were just so over the top, it made me nauseated. This coming Friday was going to be like my last hurrah before starting school and going out with everyone, I just don't see that happening now. SLC scene is so cliche. It's the same cookie cutter whore everytime you turn around. I guess the socializing with people I hadn't seen all Summer was fun, but other than that, meh. I wonder if the fact that it was also country night got on my nerves...the music would go from like Missy Eliot to Shania Twain. What the hell? Highlight was watching all the drunks try and do the boot scootin boogie....uuughhhhhh!
