wrapping up
Never knew how stressful and gross moving out of new york was. You think moving into new york is a pain in the ass...try moving or sending all your shit to the west coast with no car and trying to get rid of every possession that's worth something. It's been tough but today finally i taped my last box, figured what's going into my suitcases and i'm off on Sunday. I've been really lucky. Note to future new yorkers...get to know people with cars. You take automobile transportation totally for granted living here. Lucky for me, I've met a good bud that's been tremendously helpful helping me haul all my shit to the post office and to storage. My luck has been good and bad. Good in the sense that everything just fell into place and worked out for the best. Bad in the sense that I need to let go of things, they're just things. As an icing on teh cake, I even got asked out by the DHL man who came to pick up my boxes after hauling those bitches down 5 flights of stairs cause the elevator just had to be broken yesterday. Maybe seeing me all sweaty and gross turned him on. Lovely. But nevertheless, there's been angels in disguise here to help me move and make my last few days here have faith in human kindness. 4 nights and 5 days counting till I bid New York adieu for now.
