Ode to the big apple
As much as I bitch and moan about this city...this place has been so good to me in so many ways. I love New York. I really do.
Even if it's nasty after it rains, it feels kinda clean for a minute second
Even if the people are loud and abrasive, there's an authentic realness and honesy about them.
Even if the city seems too money, career, material centric...there's a lot of pretty shit in new york and unfortunately, money makes the world go round
Even if you only have a dollar, you can still get a decent hotdog, pretzel, or dumplings in chinatown
Even if you have no money, you can still feel like a million bucks strolling thru central park or take a seat on the steps of the Met and make a wish on your dream
Even on a limited budget you can buy, taste, smell so many things in Chinatown. My favorite street in Chinatown, Bayard St.
