They just don't make movies like they used to!
Thinking back, especially after watching the MTV movie awards. I have come to realized, not only do movies not compare to those that came from the 80's, that there are only a few people that have truely defined the 80's in movies.
1st - Any of those in the Brat Pack: Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Mare Winningham, and Demi Moore. Name one movie that they were not in that is idolized?
2nd - Would be Tom Cruise. I mean who can forget Risky Business, Top Gun, Cocktails, Rain Man, Young Guns, Days of Thunder (1990 but still)and Color of Money. All great movies!
Is there anyone else that I may have missed? Does anyone else agree? or not?
