I was just wondering if anybody remembered a childrens show that had a mixture of real people and puppets and the character I remember was a mouse and the show was based in the house it lived in ... which was a doll house, I think. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

tv shows, the 1980's

That sounds vaguely like "Today's Special", which had Muffy the Mouse who lived in a dollhouse.

The show was set in a mall, and there was Jeff, the mannequin who came to life, Bob Krenshaw (puppet) who was the security guard and another woman (whose name escapes me now).

That what you were thinking of? :)

People think I'm crazy when I talk about that show. But I named our first gerbil after Muffy. :)
