Hello knitters who can also crochet! I just learned last Friday. So my question is quite simple:

Is knitting or crocheting more yarn expensive?

(For this case study assume both projects are scarfs with the same yarn, knitting = garter stitch and crocheting = single chain stitch, same length, and same circumference needle(s).)
