that's really cool...I have only ever made two scarfs, and one I only finished what my grandma had started. I'm trying my hand at two more, one lace one Harry Potter...we'll see what happens...i get bored with scarves way too easy

I know what you mean. I think next scarf I do will either be stockinette stitch, stripes, or both. trying to do like 4 feet long of garter stitch in one color gets old REALLY fast!

I hear that...the Harry Potter scarf is a ribbing pattern with colour change and I'm still getting bored...ugh! Whose leg do I have to hump to get a house scarf around here, or at least the motivation to do it...lol

I know! I want a scarf for each house, as well as a house unity scarf (mostly black with small stripes of red, green, blue, and yellow), and I have no idea how I'm going to get the motivation for it.

yah, cheap acrylic yarn doesn't make for great scarves. the soft fluffy kind is soooo much better! cute purse by the way!

Thank you, I'm quite proud of it myself! But yeah, acrylic yarn kinda sucks. I'm going to the yarn store on Saturday, and I'll probably pick up some nice, soft yarn in baby blue so that I can make a scarf for my Meme (Meme is french for Grandma).
