1. L'Arachel knew there was something special about Eirika from the moment she saw her. And only part of it had to do with her probably being of royal lineage.
2. Eirika had always been bisexual, but Tana was the only one she'd ever done anything with. When L'Arachel found out, she was determined to do something about that.
3. L'Arachel is also bisexual and admittedly had a crush on both Renais twins. But after talking to each of them an even number of times, she came to the conclusion that Ephraim was a brute and Eirika was gentle. So she decided she'd rather spend time with Eirika.
4. For awhile, Eirika, L'Arachel and Tana were a trio and had a lot of fun together. But it wasn't that great since Tana and L'Arachel didn't get along too well. So Eirika had to divide her attention between them and it was kind of stressful. Fortunately, Tana made friends with Marisa after awhile and didn't feel so dependent on Eirika anymore.
5. Seth was afraid L'Arachel would rub off on Eirika, and L'Arachel thought Seth was boring and overprotective. When she learned Seth was really in love with Eirika, she set them up on a date...strangely, she was relieved when the sparks didn't go flying. After that, she made more of an effort to be friends with Seth. Even though he was a little afraid of her.
6. Dozla, on the other hand, adored Eirika immediately. Hey, L'Arachel was crazy about her, L'Arachel had excellent taste, therefore Eirika was every bit as wonderful as L'Arachel said she was!
7. Rennac was just happy that L'Arachel was too busy dragging Eirika all over the place to bother him anymore.
8. Sometimes Eirika found L'Arachel's obsession with destiny, justice and monster-slaying annoying. L'Arachel found Eirika's doubtful skepticism annoying.
9. Sometimes Eirika would wake up in the middle of the night and find L'Arachel's arm around her. She didn't ask questions...mainly because she didn't want to risk embarrassing L'Arachel.
10. L'Arachel felt the need to explain herself anyway, though. She made such a big deal of being embarrassed and fretting over what Eirika must think of her for being so bold, and ran off before the princess of Renais could say she really didn't mind.
11. L'Arachel avoided Eirika for a week after that. During this time, L'Arachel wept to Dozla about how she'd surely driven Eirika away, and Eirika didn't know why it was such a big deal. It wasn't like she'd never slept in another girl's arms before.
12. Eirika did feel guilty and depressed for upsetting L'Arachel, though. When L'Arachel approached her again she started another tirade of apologies. Eirika was fed up by this time, and shut L'Arachel's mouth with a kiss. This time it was Eirika's turn to freak out.
13. After another week of angst, they admitted they had feelings for each other. Then they decided there was no reason their friendship had to change because of these feelings. The previous two weeks of angst were brushed aside.
14. The night she told Eirika about her parents was the first time L'Arachel ever cried for them. Eirika promised to go with her and put flowers on their graves when the war ended. In return, L'Arachel promised to do the same for Eirika in Renais.
15. When L'Arachel gave Eirika the ruby, she joked about it being an engagement gem. That was around the time she officially fell in love. For Eirika, it was after the battle in Rausten castle, when L'Arachel insisted they share her cozy featherbed. They shared their first real kiss that night.
16. Some of the other members of the army would tease them about being "practically married". The night before the final battle, they really did become unofficially engaged.
17. After the defeat of the Demon King, Eirika stayed in Rausten with L'Arachel for a week before joining Ephraim back at Renais. The night before she left was the first time they had sex.
18. They both married men, but still visited each other so often that Eirika might as well have moved to Rausten, or L'Arachel to Renais. "Tea club" also became their code word for Secret Lesbian Love Affair.
19. Rennac knows something's going on between them. He knows the moaning and giggling isn't just them giving each other back rubs and doing each other's hair. But he doesn't dare butt into their business. After Eirika did him the favor of taking L'Arachel off his hands, it's the least he can do.
20. Their daughters would later become lesbian wives and adopt children. Luckily, they were both second children so it didn't matter that they didn't have heirs.
