1- When the lords of Lycia held the oath rites, back in Ostia, "Should one land of Lycia be attacked, all will fight at one..." While their parents were off pledging their oaths, they were kids in a side room. That was the day Eliwood had unfamiliar butterflies in his stomach and Hector had gas in his.
2- On that day, Erik-in attempt to make his own vows to the other lords’ children-cut his hand and held it out to shake hands with the others. Eliwood from that day on has always been squeamish around blood.
3- Being squeamish around blood isn't always a good thing when you're in the Lord of an army. Hector reluctantly (maybe not so reluctantly) wraps his arms around Eliwood every night to keep him "safe".
4- In one of their conversations, Eliwood and Hector happen to be talking about sparring scores. In fact this was code: win means on top, lose means on bottom, and draws happen to be something completely different...
5- After finding out about his son, Elbert set off to Valor. His hatred of gays cost him his life, Nergal loved his Ephidel and Elbert didn't. In the end (of his life), Elbert ends up accepting his son for who he is.
6- After his father's tragic death, Eliwood became emo. But because of the blood that was involved with cutting he soon stopped. Hector was disappointed, he liked emo!Eliwood.
7- After the emo!Eliwood phase, Hector started to have erotic dreams. One day he tried to tell Eliwood about them and ended up making a dream up of what was to be his "future". He never ends up telling that he misses emo!Eliwood.
8- On Hectors seventeenth birthday Eliwood had something elaborate planned out. Take him out for spaghetti and to eat from the same plate that had one magical piece that both of them would eat and end up kissing, to sit and watch the stars, and then see who would "win" or "lose" in "sparring"... The only one that happened was to see who would "win" or "lose" in "sparring".
9- Although Hector hasn't noticed, Eliwood always gets a little more aggressive every time Oswin talks to Hector. And vice versa when Marcus talks to Eliwood.
10- Uther was a bit concerned when he heard that Hector was with Eliwood. Then he remembered...It was Eliwood that Hector was with.
11- In an undecided argument of who has "won" more "sparring matches" Hector got mad at Eliwood and decided to get back at him by hitting on Lyn. He then got a slap on his cheek from a very mad Florina. Instead of Eliwood being angry, he was giggling.
12- Hector, still mad from the argument and from the new handprint on his cheek, took a potato from Lowen. Despite Lowen's guidance, he cut the potato too thin and fried them. He invented potato chips and all was well.
13- Eliwood's favorite food is now potato chips.
14- Once while Eliwood was eating his favorite food, he screamed. Hector, as if on command ran to his side and asked what was wrong. Eliwood told him he had a cut on his lip and the salt from the chips stung and that the only way it would get better was a kiss on the boo-boo.
15- Hector took Eliwood into their tent and spectators say that he must've healed Eliwood fully. The strange thing is that when they came out, they both had messed up hair, no armor, and their clothes were extremely wrinkled...
16- Moments later, Kent was talking to Eliwood and told him that he could have gotten a healer and he would’ve had a cleaner appearance. Sain whispered into his ear what really happened and Kent’s eyes widened. Both Eliwood and Hector walked away slowly. (Soon after the same type of incident happened between the two).
17- After the battle concerning Vaida, Eliwood was so happy that everyone was still alive that he even told Hector that he loved him. Hector didn’t know what to say to that and walked away. Leaving Eliwood feeling broken. Maybe that’s why the chapter was named Unfulfilled Heart.
18- After that Hector continued his daily life, minus Eliwood. Eliwood was on the rebound and was eventually picked up by Ninian. After her death, he went back on the rebound and back to emo!Eliwood. Hector kept an eye on him after that.
19- Hector confronted Eliwood before the final battle, Light, and told Eliwood to make him a promise that he will stay alive and live to an old age. Eliwood made the promise and made Hector vow the same. They stayed side by side through the battle.
20- Hector and Eliwood made it to the Dragon without losing a member of their army. Hector was the bravest of all and decided to take the dragon out. The axe-man had a very hard time in killing the dragon but in the end succeeded at a very valuable cost, his own life. Eliwood held Hector in his arms and told him of the promise with tears streaming down his face. Hector’s last words were “I love you too.”
