What I Am Not (or 20 Truths About IshiHime)
Title: What I Am Not (or Twenty Truths About IshiHime)

Disclaimer/Notes/Whatever: This Ishihime was written to clear my palette of that Ishida x Nemu lemon Cal Reflector challenged me to write (XD) and also to meet an implicit challenge in one of Dragonboy MT’s drawings; MT said that Ishihime is such a “teeth-rottingly sweet ship” that he felt compelled to kink it up

Ah! Herein lay my challenge--to write said kink within Kubo’s canon timeline! (See truth #5).
I’m so preoccupied with canon in my own fanfic that I hesitate (stupid me) to develop filler ideas because I fear that, in a year or so, Kubo will write a backstory that contradicts mine. Lately I’ve even found myself not wanting to contradict one particular fanfic writer’s rendering of events. Kaeru-chan’s characterization of Orihime rings so true, true, true that I had to incorporate pieces of “20 Facts About Inoue Orihime” into this story.
I posted the story, as is my habit, at mediaminer.org. I changed my setting there so non-members can leave reviews. Please let me know there (or here) what you think of my take on Ishihime; I went for the all-canon tribute, and I love Ishihime too much.
