I should have the next chapter up by Saturday, depending on how busy ani8 is with school.

I was referring to the CSI scene - that was totally gross! Blech!!

Nice to see the case evolving. I'm not sure I agree with the Cam you've got here. I don't really see her as caring about going public and giving him an ultimatum like that, but, OTOH, we haven't really seen much of their "relationship" to know for sure if it's just f**k buddies or if it's getting deeper for one more so than the other. Perhaps this is the way they plan to take it on the show. Only time and more episodes will tell. ;)

So what's up with Brennan? Does she suspect something about Cam and Booth?

I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Yeah, it was hard when I started writing this to really get a feel for the Cam/Booth thing, because we hadn't seen any of it until last night, really - just that it was a bad idea. So, I was wrong, but it's a bit late to go back and fix it now since it sort of plays a part in the rest of the story, so I'll have to live with her being a bit different from Canon!Cam.

You find out what's up with Brennan in Chapter Four. It should be an interesting ride! Thank you for reviewing!

I'm not so sure you're wrong about Cam. Last night's episode did make it look like she doesn't really care, but it could well turn out this way and, perhaps, that's why they break up eventually. I do think the way you have Booth reacting to her touches and advances rings true. He is obviously very uncomfortable with any display of affection in the lab at least and I agree he feels he's betraying Bones a bit by even seeing Cam much less doing anything in the lab.

hey, cam, take it from someone who found out the hard way: MEN LIKE TO BE THE INITIATORS. if you initiate sex all the time in the relationship, it freaks them out, and they end up not being able to deal with you and unwilling to give you the chance to change once they tell you why they're leaving!

good job, hon. i've always seen booth as a slow-moving kind of gent and was MAJORLY pissed off with the writers for the "slutty booth" ep. I'm convinced that was purely to get ratings; I mean, come on--the shot of david in nothing but briefs? it was so obvious....they could have established his relationship with cam without him sleeping around with his "very much in love with someone else" ex. *steps off soapbox*
