[Spoiler (click to open)]I was recently watching S4 E7 The He in the She and felt very uncomfortable with the scene of Bones and Booth talking to Patty's wife( starts at around 18:40). I really disliked how it felt so much like double standard. I do agree with Bones, but more along the lines that changing one sex should be the same to " augmenting God's work"because you're still changing your appearance. If "we were made in gods appearance" then even enhancing would "undoing it completely" because that was not how we were made/born. My issue is not they believe getting a sex change is wrong or okay my issuse is with the hypocrisy of that statement. In essence what it's saying, that we can change a little bit about ourselves, but not a lot because that's going too far. Then Booth proceeded to say " How about that Bones." As if what Bones believes is wrong, as if she is wrong for even defending Patty/Patrick for changing.
What I want to know are your thought on the scene, better yet on the whole episode.
