Maybe, but would David really tell us? Maybe Booth wants the baby to be a boy and that's what he's thinking going into the ultrasound.

We'll find out for sure whether it's a boy or a girl eventually!

Sides readers already know what the baby is - unless they put out some false dialogue to throw people off.

I'm tending to lean towards the sides being correct. Unless I've missed something, the Bones PTB don't tend to try that trick with fake stuff in the sides.
