Describe yourself in five sentences or less: I often lament that I'm too nerdy for the real world, but not geeky enough for the internet. I love writing, and much of my LJ use is about improving it as much as anything else. I'm passionate about many things but also believe in listening to what other people have to say. I'm an old soul, yet young at heart at the same time.
Top 5 fandoms: Harry Potter, Parks and Recreation, Buffyverse, Firefly, and um.... that's pretty much it? I guess you could throw in the Fantastic Beasts movie as a subset of Harry Potter.
I mostly post about... Meta/discussion posts and reviews, snark about various things, social commentary and musings, social media commentary and musings (including my blog-within-a-blog), writing. I talk about my family and work a bit, too. But I'm not a huge day-to-day person.
My last three LJ posts were about... My thoughts on education (mostly unrelated to recent events in the US, although I did acknowledge the timing), a poem and how I don't actually know how to write poetry, and asking if anyone knows how to make a Parks and Rec fanvid.
How often do you post? How about commenting? I post a few times a week. Depending on the week, sometimes daily. As far as commenting goes, I can't say I've ever taken a tally, but I try to comment. I WILL say that I'm not so good at commenting on day-to-day bullet posts. I don't mind them, I just don't know what to say to them. My comments ARE often longer, though. Just as a warning.
