Clint runs thinking its for the best
I am looking for an old strike team delta fic, either Clint/Coulson or pre-clint/Coulson, where someone (i think Fury but maybe maria) threatened Phil through Clint, saying Clint was holding him back etc and Clint runs away, only to be chased down by Natasha and Phil who fight it out in a hotel room to convince Clint to tell them what is going on - i think Clint wakes up handcuffed to a chair but Natasha slips him the key without telling Phil.
