EKG results

I just realized I never posted an update.  Nicholas did pretty well at the Cardiologist's office, except they can never get a good height measurement and this was the first time anyone's tried taking his blood pressure -- hello, he's 2, there's no way he's going to sit still while this thing squeezes the pudge out of his arm.  The nurse came back in and told me, "Oh! I usually take it off when the arm starts turning red"... Nick's arm was nearly purple but it didn't seem to bother him.  She had him shake it out and he was fine. He was intrigued by the little stickers (and thankfully, they didn't hurt coming off).  She put them all over his chest and gave him a few to put on my arm as a distraction.  We got to watch his heart beat/info on the monitor... too bad he had no idea what it was.  The Cardiologist listened for a long time and looked at the EKG print-out to confirm the innocent heart murmer his Pediatrician had suspected.  BUT, that means his heart is completely normal!  He said almost every child gets one at some point in their childhood (I had no idea!) and that some will go undetected between yearly visits because they can go away and re-emerge.  It's a strange thing.  I am very relieved, though.
