You know, when I wasn't IN the GDF, you guys seemed to basically always be on top of everything, no matter where you went. But now that I'm here, everything's constantly on the brink of falling apart.

Did things take a turn for the worse, or is it just a case of perspective?

Not that the GDF hasn't had it's ups and downs, but I imagine it's mostly perspective.

If the GDF seems particularly successful, it's mainly because it has several dozen distinct enemies at any given time. In case you hadn't noticed, we fight almost constantly, rather than engaging in selective campaigns.

Makes me wonder why they took in Celestial Being sometimes. Then again, all of our enemies consolidated into A-LAWS, and judging by the GDF's policies, they'd have opposed them anyway.
