Absquatulate - verb. Just another humorous word meaning to flee or abscond. Or, vamoose, hightail it, bolt, scram, vanish or cheese it.

The mock Latin word is said to have been spoken by a character named Nimrod Wildfire in William B. Bernard's play, "The Kentuckian" in 1833.
